Wiz: Puzzled that minimum found it fiendish, lovely grid tho! (2 months ago)

lorna: Fair point, as usual, BinDipper! Just discovered that E560, E461, E462, E464, E466, E467, E101, E300, E306, E160a & E1510 are all present in a raw, unprocessed, organic banana! :) (2 months ago)

BinDipper: Lest you go on an E number hunt and eliminate them from your diet, bear in mind E300 is ascorbic acid, aka Vitamin C.
Not all E numbers are bad boys; not all would have a 3yr old climbing walls. :-) (2 months ago)

lorna: thanks Krista. the E denotes that it's in accordance with EU food standards. The number I think is how many ways it will screw you up? (2 months ago)

Krista: Lizzy-read some food labels, E numbers are stuff they put in food to do jobs like preserving& colouring that are NOT natural. They give them E numbers because some have l-o-n-g names and they`d never get it all on the packet! :-D
Nice grid Lorna :-) (2 months ago)

Lizzy: What's an E number? Not heard of that! (2 months, 1 week ago)

Pip1: Different - not a lot of typing involved with the answers ! - I can't see any crossovers though. Poor old 'U' must feel left out. (3 months ago)

Niall: thanks, Lorna (3 months ago)
